Kelechi Nwakali will spend the rest of this season, on loan at Dutch second division side, MVV Maastricht from Arsenal.
The 18-year-old joined the Gunners from Diamond Youth Academy this summer, but is yet to make an appearance for the North London club.
Coach of MVV Maastricht, Ron Elsen, has said he hopes Nwakali comes through this phase of his career.
The attacking midfielder was voted the MVP of last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, which Nigeria won.
