Arsenal’s Lucas Perez ruled out for 21 days

Arsenal striker, Lucas Perez will be on the sidelines for three weeks due to a thigh injury. The Spaniard has struggled for game time this season and this latest injury is a blow for his chances of featuring in the first team
He wasn’t included in the Gunners squad to face West Brom on Saturday and the club confirmed that Perez, along with German international Mesut Ozil, didn’t travel due to both players suffering thigh and hamstring injuries respectively.
Arsene Wenger’s side has won eight out of the nine games Perez has started so far and he continues to conjure up goals and assists whenever he plays.
Meanwhile, Petr Cech and Alexis Sanchez both sustained injuries in the demoralising defeat at The Hawthorns but no timeframe has been given on their absence as of yet.
