Arsenal have begun negotiations with Chelsea over signing Petr Cech this summer. The Gunners and Paris Saint-Germain have contacted the Blues, but the Czech goalkeeper is believed to favour staying in London.
A deal to take him to the Emirates will cost Arsene Wenger around £10million.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has already said he cannot stop the 33-year-old from joining a rival team and Wenger is keen to bring in a new No 1. There are doubts about current first-choice David.
