Arsenal looking to sign two of Rooney, Higuain and Suarez

In what could be a sensational summer for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger is looking to sign two of Luis Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain and Wayne Rooney, to form a lethal partnership upfront for the Gunners next term.

The Arsenal boss has been encouraged by his players, especially the defenders to go for Suarez, as they described him as the most difficult opponent they have come up against in the Premier League. Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere have also talked up the possibility of bringing in fellow England international Wayne Rooney.

Wenger was very close to landing Higuain last week, until Real Madrid decided at the last minute to increase his price to £25.5million. However, the Frenchman is still confident of landing the Argentine striker. He has also had a £30million offer for Suarez rejected, but is planning to increase his bid to £35million.

If Arsenal are able to pull off the deals, it will definitely leave the future of Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski and Gervinho in doubt.
