Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is increasingly confident of landing Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
Despite having two bids turned down, the Gunners have refused to give up on signing the France winger.
The Ligue 1 champions are reluctant to sell and knocked back Arsenal’s second bid of £40million, but Lemar is keen to move to the Premier League.
Arsenal are prepared to go above £45millin for the player and will offer him a five-year deal worth £100,000-a-week.
Lemar’s representatives have already held talks with Monaco and Wenger is hoping they can get a deal done.
