A statement issued on Thursday by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa noted that there is no ongoing DSS Course and therefore cautioned the public to disregard such fake advert.

“The news of Army Direct Short Service (DSS) Course 25 shortlistment currently circulating on the social media is FAKE.

“Members of the Public are hereby informed that the Army has not advertised for DSS Course 25 Shortlistment exercise.

“Moreover application forms for joining the army are NOT FOR SALE. The Nigerian Army does not sell application forms to prospective candidates.

“Members of the public are hereby cautioned and advised to disregard the deceitful information/fake advert”, Musa warned.

The Army Spokesman, however, hinted that, Nigerian Army will soon officially advertise for the Short Service Combatant (SSC) and Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) shortlistment after due diligence.
