The Nigerian Army on Wednesday killed 2 Boko Haram terrorists at Gudumbali, Borno state.
The troops under the 118 Task Force Battalion, 8 Task Force Division had laid ambush for the terrorists at Garere Junction and in their attempts to cross over to another location with some logistics items, the army took on them.
A statement by the Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, said during the operation, the troops killed 2 and wounded one of the Boko Haram terrorists.
“They also recovered 2 AK-47 and a G3 rifle. In addition, they recovered 660 litres of Premium Motor Spirit also known as petrol and yards of military uniforms.
“The troops also recovered a truck earlier stolen by the terrorists in Kangarwa,” the statement added.
