Lieutenant Colonel Silas Jock Santoi of the Headquarters, training and doctrine command, Nigeria Army, Minna has threatened to drag the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) alongside some judges to court over what he alleged as conspiracy against justice.
The embattled army officer has a running legal battle with the Nigeria Army for allegedly retiring him prematurely, after returning from a study leave.
According to Colonel Santio, “I will have no further option but to take the NBA and some judges to court for their inability to address my case for over 14 years.”
He said, he had been treated unfairly for all those years and no judgment has been given on his case, in spite of appeals from relevant bodies and nongovernmental organizations for his case to be looked into.
According to him, “I have severally petitioned the NBA on my case but their response has not been encouraging, I have also petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice on my case of ill-treatment.
“All I want is justice on my matter, I have not be treated fairly by the army, my career has been destroyed, that is why I want justice to be done.
“I have been consistent on my fight for justice and I know some day God will answer me and justice will prevail against injustice.”
He further called on the President to passionately look into his case with a view to seeing that justice is done, stressing that justice delayed is justice denial.
