Report from the Acting Director Army Public Relations Officer, Col. Sani Usman Kukasheka reveals that thirty-two persons, including two army officers, two soldiers, two police and twenty-six civilians have now been arrested as Boko Haram collaborators in the ongoing fight against insurgency in the northeast, Nigeria.
Although their names were not mentioned, a statement from the military authority said, the suspects were arrested following the ongoing investigation.
“Please be informed the ongoing investigation on suspected Boko Haram terrorists collaborators and saboteurs in the fight against terrorism and insurgency has led to the arrest of 9 more persons over the last 24 hours, thus bringing the number to 30.
“this comprise 2 officers, 2 soldiers, 2 policemen and 26 civilians. Many more suspects would be arrested and prosecuted based on evidences against them and level of culpability.” the statement said.
