Armsgate: Provide evidence of money I returned – Ribadu dares accusers

Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, has denied refunding any money to the federal government.

In a statement he issued personally yesterday, Ribadu said he never met or had anything to do with the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

“It is, therefore, shocking for me to be accused of receiving something from someone I never had any relationship with, not to talk of refunding money he gave me,” he said.

“Let me reiterate that I did NOT receive any money at any time from the ex-NSA, either directly or through a proxy. There is therefore no reason for me to make any refund.

“Also, I have not been contacted by any security agency on this matter to warrant any action of that nature on my part.

“Those trying to discreetly plant that story should come forward with documentary evidence to suggest that I refunded money. The security agencies are there to confirm or deny this”, he maintained.
