Police have arrested members of the armed robbery gang that attacked Super Eagles and Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder, Onazi Ogenyi’s family home in Jos, Plateau state last Tuesday.
The box-to-box midfielder dropped a message on his twitter handle, @onaziogenyi, thanking God for the arrest of the suspects.
The 23-year-old wrote, “The 5 armed robbers that robbed my family home in Jos have been apprehended at Epe, Lagos. I thank God Almighty.”
The defensive midfielder, on Tuesday revealed to newsmen how his family house in Jos was attacked by robbers.
He said his father was brutalized and valuables carted away.
