Our correspondent gathered that the posture of the youths who strategically positioned with sophisticated weapons made CP Ibrahim withdrew his men and every person on his entourage to prevent casualties.

Some of the armed youths took positions in the bush while others remained on ground, shooting sporadically on sighting the Commissioner of Police.

CP Ibrahim, who was silent on the activities of the youths, later visited Delta State Government House Annex in Warri.

He threatened to arrest leaders of Isaba, Aladja,Ayama and Epame Communities if they breached the Riot Act handed them.

“They must maintain peace and shun violence. If there is any breach of peace, I will have no option but arrest the leaders of the communities,” Ibrahim warned.

The area was peaceful as a press time, while security agents are keeping watch to forestall any break down of law and order.
