Aregbesola reveals why he became Arsenal fan

Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has revealed the football club he supports and the reason.

Aregbesola on Wednesday said he became an Arsenal fan because of former Super Eagles player, Kanu Nwankwo.

Aregbesola also shared a photo of himself with the former Arsenal striker on his Twitter account,@raufaregbesola.

He wrote, “Football is a love language spoken worldwide. A true Gooner meets a legendary @Arsenal player.

“I became an Arsenal fan because of you and I have remained a Gooner ever since.”

Kanu replied by thanking the governor for their meeting.

“Thanks, I appreciate and nice to meet you. God bless you,” he tweeted via@papilokanu.
