The Senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has mocked those calling for the removal of Dr. Bukola Saraki as Senate President.
The lawmaker suggested that those making such call at this point were only dreaming, adding that the move could be tragic.
While appearing on Arise TV during the week, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole had maintained his stand that Saraki should not be allowed in that position.
But in a tweet on Thursday evening, Senator Sani said, “The Senate President can only be removed in two ways: the first is by dreaming of it after a heavy Dinner; and the second way is by adopting the President Boris Yeltsin 1993 strategy on the Russian Parliament.
“The former is an illusion and the latter will be a tragedy.”
