DAILY POST reports that the major opposition parties had accused the state electoral body of denying them right to participate in the election.
Jigawa state North Central PDP Vice Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Jahun accused the state election body, JISIEC of preventing his party from fielding candidates for the local government election by refusing to sell nomination forms to their candidates.
Also Social Democratic Party SDP state chairman Alhaji Abba Anas Adamu had also accused the state electoral body of irregularities in process of the election.
He said the act was meant to denied other opposition parties an opportunity to participate in the election.
But the Jigawa state electoral commission denied the allegations, saying all political parties were carried along in the entire electioneering processes and had no right to claim that they were sidelined.
