APC spokesperson, driver die in Bauchi car crash

The spokesperson of the Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Auwal Jallah and his driver Shamsudden Mohammed have died in a car crash.

Both men were involved in a ghastly motor accident along Azare/Gamawa road.

His driver died instantly while Jallah, who sustained several injuries and fractures was taken to Federal Medical Center, FMC, Azare and later to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano for further treatment.

He died yesterday night and was buried at his hometown Gamawa the same day according to Islamic rites.

The Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, Bauchi State APC chairman, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, the state organising secretary of the party and other dignitaries attended the funeral prayer.

The Governor later condoled members of the family over his death and prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Abdullahi described late Auwal Jallah as an honest, dedicated person who lived a simple life and associated well with friends and all other members of the party.
