APC NASS Primaries: Gbajabiamila returns unopposed

For his quality representation at the House of Representatives, the House Minority Leader and the All Progressives Congress, APC Caucus Leader, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on Sunday got the nod of delegates of APC in Surulere 1 federal constituency, Lagos to return to the House of Representatives.

He scored 247 votes out of 252 total votes cast with five declared invalid and no opposition.

Gbajabiamila, according to a statement by one of his aides, Wasiu Olarewaju Smart, said after his declaration: “I thank our party members for their trust in my representation. I promise to give you even better representation in 2015.”

Gbajabiamila, a lawyer, was trained both in Nigeria and the United States of America. He is popular for his fearless debate on the floor of the House.

According to reports, the APC delegates said they unanimously affirmed Gbajabiamila’s candidacy owing to his track record of true representation in the House of Representatives.
