APC has failed in Kaduna – Senator Shehu Sani

Senator representing Kaduna Central zone at the National Assembly, Comrade Shehu Sani, on Tuesday said that the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, has failed the people of Kaduna state.

He told the electorates that the only alternative left for them in the coming election is between freedom and bondage.

Making the assertion while flagging off his Senatorial campaign at the Secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kaduna, he said, “In the last three and half years, I have represented the people of Kaduna Central to the best of my ability.

“My presence at the National Assembly is a living testimony to the fact that you don’t need to stay so long at the parliament before your impact can be felt.

“The parliament is the most important institution of government with people of intellectual capacity, and people of independent minds that can see the needs of their people through various legislative activities.

“In the next few months, Nigeria shall be transiting to the new face in its history, and this is a time for people to make decisions on those that determine their future and this choice will also determined their path.”

Shehu Sani who is the flagbearer of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, for the Kaduna Central in the 2019 general elections said that the seat is not for sale and also not for thugs but, for people who can stand for the light of the day and dark of the night.

” Kaduna is in a state of dictatorship,” adding that, “PRP is in tandem with my socialist ideology and that is why the party is a movement for liberation of the downtrodden.”

The senator also disclosed that his party has no candidate for the presidential polls, he therefore called on his supporters to make the right choice while voting, saying his decision on who he ( Shehu Sani) will throw his weight behind shall be determined during the polls.

While calling on the media to discharge their responsibility without any fear of intimidation, he urged them to be fair, firm, and remain strong.

Shehu Sani who considered himself as a member of the fourth estate of the realm said that the profession was founded on integrity and therefore, hence the need for practitioners to uphold the ethical values of journalism.
