APC General Secretary dies in Benue

The death has been announced of Onov Tyuulugh, Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue state chapter.
Tyuulugh passed away last night in a hospital in Makurdi, after a protracted illness.
Confirming the incident, Berger Alfred Emberga, the Publicty Secretary of the APC in the state, described the demise of Tyuulugh as a great loss to the ruling party.
He said, “The party wishes to console with his family, Ushongo people and Benue state Government over this irreparable loss and stated that his contributions towards the successful enthronement of the party as the governing party in the state will forever be remembered.
“Following this sad development, the party’s flags across the state should be flown at half mast, and a 3-day of mourning be observed in his honour beginning from tomorrow.
“The burial arrangement will be communicated to the public as soon as the party finish consulting with his family,” he added.
