Security operatives today shut down Warri and its environs in Delta State ahead of the commencement of the All Progressives Congress, APC Flag off campaign in the town, DAILY POST can report.
The security operatives barricaded the popular Warri/Sapele road by Garage, Cemetery, Iyara, Odion roads as well as Essi Layout.
There’s serious vehicular traffic in the town as a result of the barricades mounted by the security operatives.
Party faithful are being checked thoroughly before they will be allowed access into the Warri Township Stadium.
Some journalists were barred from entering the venue of the APC campaign after they were checked by the security operatives.
People are still scrambling to enter the venue of the event where President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be present alongside Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru and other APC leaders in Delta State.
