APC congress: Police arrest one over burnt party secretariat in Bauchi

The Bauchi State police command has confirmed that it has arrested one person linked to the burning of Ningi Council Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State.

Police spokesman in the State, DSP Datti Kamal Abubakar exclusively confirmed this to DAILY POST Sunday.

Abubakar stressed that the command was on the trail of other suspects that were on the run.

He assured that Bauchi state was no longer a field for criminal operation as the police were always on alert to contain any eventuality

Hoodlums were said to have burnt down Ningi council secretariat during the controversial APC congress in the State.

The police spokesman maintained that the command would not fold its hands watching mischief-makers destabilize the peaceful society

“Police is always vigilant to contain the activities of criminals in the state apparently to curtail any break down and laws,” Abubakar said.
