The All Progressives Congress, APC, Anambra State chapter, yesterday, returned all members of the state executive committee in an affirmative congress.
The election, which was conducted by voice votes, saw Barr Emeka Ibe returned as the state chairman of the party in an election conducted by the state congress committee, led by Emma China.
The affirmative style of election, DAILY POST learnt, was adopted to forestall the kind of rancour that was witnessed during the ward congresses of the party in the state.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, who addressed delegates of the party shortly before the commencement, said the congress was a brotherly affair.
He urged those who did not make it on Saturday to wait for a better time, assuring that the positions would go round.
DAILY POST reports that stakeholders of the party had earlier met to ratify and zone the positions being contested for.
Barr Emeka Ibe, during his acceptance speech, thanked members of the party for finding him worthy to be elected for a second term.
