The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has cleared 25 out of the 26 seats in the state House of Assembly.
The INEC in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer in Ekiti State, Alhaji Taiwo Gbadegeshin, on Sunday, however, said election was yet to be concluded in Ekiti East Constituency 1 due to disruptions that engulfed four of the polling units of the constituency while the exercise was going on.
The polling units, according the statement are Aya Alaafe street, Teledalase PU 003; Late Oloda’s frontage PU 006, Baba Egbe’s house PU 008 and Beside Baba Egbe’s house PU 009.
The INEC image maker while appreciating the cooperation of all stakeholders in ensuring peaceful conduct of the election, said the commission also commended the people of the state for their peaceful conduct during the election.
The list of the elected members as declared by the respective Returning Officers are: Ado constituency I, Lucas Oluwatoyin Felix, Ado II, Balogun Adekemi Adebambi, Efon, Olajide Adegoke Ayobami, Ekiti South/west I, Ayokunle Yemisi, Ekiti southwest II, olatunji Joseph, Ekiti West, Akingbolu Tajudeen, Emure, Olubumi Rachael Adelugba, Gbonyin, Okuyiga Eyitayo Adeyemi, Ido/Osin I, Fawekun Abiodun Babatunde, Ido/Osin II, Akinnoso Emmanuel.
Others are, Ijero state constituency, Ojo Martins Ademola, Ikere I, Afuye Funminiyi Ebenezer, Ikere II, Babatunde Lawrence Idowu, Ikole I, Olugboyega Aribisogan Mathew, Ikole II, Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, Ilejemeje, Ogunleye Olutope, Irepodun/Ifelodun I, Akindele Femi Olanrewaju, Irepodun/Ifelodun II, Ayodeji Hakeem Jamiu, Ise/Orun, Ajayi Ayodeji Moses, Moba I, Adeyemi Raphael Ajibade, Moba II, Arubu Michael Kola, while Awoyemi Oluwaseun Reuben and Ogunyemi Olatunji Abraham was elected for Oye constituency I and II respectively.
