APC cancels Ward, LG congresses in Rivers

Respite has come the way of Senator Magnus Abe as the All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the cancellation of the Ward and Local government congresses held in Rivers State.

The party in a statement signed by its National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, said it cancelled the congresses following complaints from some leaders of the party in the state.

The APC rescheduled the Ward Congress to hold tomorrow, Saturday May 19, while the Local government congress will hold this Sunday, with the State Congress now set to hold on Monday.

Chief Oyegun appealed to all party leaders and interest groups to take advantage of the rescheduled congresses.
