Felix Anyasi-Agwu has stepped down as chairman of Enyimba, after leading the club to a record seventh Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.

Anyasi-Agwu, who is also the chairman of the NFF technical committee, has been in charge of the Peoples’ Elephant for the last 16 years.

During that time, Enyimba won all their major honours, including two CAF Champions League and seven league titles.

Anyasi-Agwu cited pressure and health concerns, as the reason why he is quitting.

“The pressure is on me to quit and also the consideration for my health,” he said.
