The Anti Buhari Protesters #OurMumuDonDo has terminated its sit-out protest in Abuja over alleged death threat being received by the members of the group.
Speaking to Journalist on Wednesday, The Leader of the group, Charles Oputa (Charly Boy) said at the Unity Fountain that the group decided to suspend the protest in order to restrategize and have a wider plan on the activities of the movement.
He noted that the group is not intimidated by the attack on its members at Wuse market.
The group has been protesting against the continued stay of the ailing President Buhari in London, asking him to resume or resign his office.
Charlyboy explained that their members have received death threat from various quarters but they are not deterred.
According to him, “We are not deterred by the intimidation and harassment by the sponsored thugs and we cannot be cowed by a few groups of people.
“What government want to do is to ensure that we have a clash with the hired crowd and we will not allow that to happen.”
The group noted that a statement will be issued later in the day to tell Nigerians the next line of action.
The group was attacked at Abuja Wuse market on Tuesday where its leader Charlyboy narrowly escaped being lynched by angry mob.
