Another vehicle, a commercial Toyota Sienna with passengers, has plunged into the Ososa River on the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode-Benin Expressway in the Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The incident, eyewitnesses said, happened around 4:30pm Wednesday.
The bus was reportedly coming from Lagos and heading for Ijebu-Ode when it plunged into the River.
DAILY reported Monday that similar accident occurred over the weekend when a Honda Civic conveying one Mr Tajudeen Oropo, staff of the Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, plunged into the River.
The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun Sector Command, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident.
Okpe disclosed that rescue operations were already ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
