Despite the controversy, which greeting the erection of a billboard bearing the image of Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha in a warm handshake with United States President, Barrack Obama, another billboard has surfaced in the state.
Though, the governor had through his media office distanced himself from the advert, the new billboard was sponsored by a group called TBX, USA and Nigeria.
The billboard bears a bold inscription, which reads: “a true Igbo leader.”
The governor is yet to react to the new development.
Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, Prof Chidi Odinkalu had in a statement described the Governor’s action as a show of narcissism and a show of shame.
