Sunderland striker, Victor Anichebe could miss Saturday’s Premier League game against Watford at the Stadium of Light.
The Nigerian sat out their 1-0 loss to Chelsea in midweek, because of an injury he picked up during training.
His manager, David Moyes, admits he is unsure whether Anichebe will be available for the clash.
“Victor and Steven weren’t available, and Manquillo could have been involved tonight but he got injured in training on Sunday,” Moyes said in his pre-match conference on Friday.
“They were the three who missed out through injury.
“I don’t know if they will be available for the weekend. We’ll have a look tomorrow and see how they are.”
Anichebe has scored three goals in five matches, since he joined the Black Cats in August.
