Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to quit Real Madrid next week, as he is reported to be “angry” over his treatment in Spain.
Ronaldo netted a stunning winner, as Madrid beat Fiorentina 2-1 in a friendly at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night. But he could be heading for the exit according to Spanish daily, El Pais.
The 32-year-old is said to be upset by a five-match ban, after being sent off against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup, after which he pushed the referee.
A source close to Ronaldo told the paper: “For now, he’s just concentrating on playing.
“He is angry about the five-game ban, but he is working just as hard with the team.
“However, we cannot guarantee whether he will stay or leave.
“We’ll see what happens in between now and August 31.”
