Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has blasted Gareth Bale’s agent, for claiming his team-mates don’t pass enough to the Welsh winger.
Bale has endured a disappointing second season in Spain and has been booed by fans at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 25-year-old put in two below-par performances, as Madrid were beaten 2-1 at Juventus last week and drew 2-2 at home to Valencia.
Jonathan Barnett, who represents Bale, claimed that his team-mates were not getting him involved enough. But Ancelotti responded by saying he needs to talk less.
“This is a world in which a lot of people talk and sometimes they talk too much,” Ancelotti said ahead of his team’s second leg tie against Juventus on Wednesday.
“Bale’s agent spoke who has never been to one of our training sessions, who doesn’t know the atmosphere we have, who spoke from outside.
“Bale has never had problems with his team-mates and his team-mates have never had problems with Bale. So too many words and it would have been better to stay quiet. We are happy with Bale’s season.”
