Anambra Decides: Late commencement of voting at Onitsha, as Emordi commends peaceful exercise

Voting has commenced at Onitsha area, DAILY POST can authoritatively report. Voting started around 12pm.

The late commencement, it was gathered was because of the late redeployment of electoral material to the area, DAILY POST gathered from an INEC official who refused to disclose her name.

Meanwhile, Senator Joy Emordi has expressed happiness over the orderly conduct of the exercise.

Emordi, a former senator representing Anambra North told journalists in a friendly discussion that so far the exercise has been orderly and free of violence.

She Voted at Odoakpu ward 2, Onitsha South local government area at about 12:29pm.
