Amuzie, Godwin included in Nigeria’s U-23 squad for South Korea Championship

Olhanense starlet Stanley Amuzie, KV Oostende’s Saviour Godwin, have been included in Nigeria’s U-23 squad, for next month’s South Korea Four-Nation Championship.

Kayseri Erciyesspor defender Saturday Keigo, Azubike Okechukwu, Taiwo Awoniyi, Sodiq Popoola, Nathan Oduwa and Usman Mohammed also made the cut.

However, Junior Ajayi will miss out, after his Tunisian club failed to release him for the tournament.

General secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Sanusi Muhammed, has confirmed that the team will leave for South Korea on May 30.

The Championship kicks off in the first week of June, with hosts South Korea, Denmark and Honduras also featuring.
