Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun on Tuesday sent additional three nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
They are Mr Rotimi Durojaye, Mr Adebola Adeife and Mrs Adenike Osoba.
A letter from the governor containing the names of the nominees was read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, Mr Suraj Adekunbi.
He said the approval would enable the governor to appoint commissioners, who would help him in administering the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor had on Sept. 30 forwarded names of 16 commissioner-nominees to the lawmakers.
They include Mr Jide Ojuko, Mr Sunday Bamiwola, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, Mr Bolaji Oyeleye, Mr Leke Adewolu, Mr Afolabi Afuwape, Mr Gbenga Ademosun, Mr Kolawole Lawal, Mr Segun Abiodun and Mr Olumide Ayeni.
NAN also reports that six of the commissioners, who worked with the governor in his first tenure, also made the list.
They are Mr Bimbo Ashiru, Mrs Ronke Sokefun, Mrs Kemi Adeosun (now a ministerial nominee) Mr Muyiwa Oladipo, Mr Olamilekan Adegbite and Mrs Yewande Amusan.
Each of the nominees is expected come to the House of Assembly with 30 copies of their resume and original certificates on Thursday, Oct. 8 for screening. (NAN)
