The deputy Director-General of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun 2015 Campaign Organisation (SIACO), Bisi Adegbuyi, on Friday said the governor’s scorecard would speak for him in next month’s governorship election in Ogun State.
Describing Amosun’s three and half years in office as outweighing the eight years of his predecessor, Adegbuyi said Amosun has performed creditably well to deserve another term from the people of Ogun State.
He listed the good works of the governor to include reduction of crime to the barest minimum, improvement of security of lives and property as well as creating a conducive environment for investors in the state. He noted that these explain why Ogun was recently voted as the Third Most Peaceful State in Nigeria.
“Governance is work in progress and there is no point in changing a winning team. The three and half years of the Amosun administration can be juxtaposed with what the previous government had done in eight years.
“Clearly, the governor’s achievements will speak for him. On our part, we will mobilise, inform and, if need be, educate, because we ought to be ready to meet up to our expectations,” he said.
