The governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has called on his opponents in the April 11 governorship election in the state to join him in moving the state forward, describing them as stakeholders in the Ogun project. Amosun made the call while giving his acceptance speech in a special broadcast to mark his reelection as the governor of the state.
He said: “We are all winners. There are no losers. Our unity is our strength. We, therefore, have to continue to march forward together.”
The governor promised that his administration would continue with its policy of non-discrimination against any person based on ethnicity, gender, religion or party affiliation.
“The policies, programmes and projects of our administration in the next four years shall continue to be for the benefit of all. Indeed, we shall pursue with more vigour, determination, honesty of purpose and courage, our five cardinal programmes as contained in our administration’s Mission to Rebuild Ogun State,” he said.
