Amaechi, APC have no place in Rivers State – Wike

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no place in the state.

According to him, its promoters have nothing to show for their stay in government.

He made the declaration in Port Harcourt yesterday when he hosted Bonny community leaders and professionals under the aegis of Bonny Democratic Front.

“APC has no place in Rivers State. Anyone who claims to be fronting for APC should be bold enough to show us his or her report card”, the former Minister, apparently referring to Governor Rotimi Amaechi said.

Continuing he said, “They have failed woefully in the state and there is need for the people to take their destinies in their hands. APC must pack and leave Rivers State.

“Their false propaganda and grandstanding are meant to divert attention from their failure.”

Earlier in his remark, Coordinator of the Bonny Democratic Front, Alfred Allison Wari Senibo, said the Bonny people were behind the candidacy of President Goodluck Jonathan and Wike.
