Allegri to sign new Juventus contract

Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, is set to sign a new deal with the Serie A champions worth €7million per year.

According to Goal, Allegri who led the Old Lady to a sixth straight league title as well as the Champions League final, will put pen to paper on a two-year contract on Wednesday.

The former AC Milan boss had been linked with Arsenal earlier in the season, but Arsene Wenger’s own renewal means he will now remain in Turin.

Allegri is already planning additions to his squad ahead of 2017/2018.

Deals for Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick and Lazio’s Keita Balde are currently being worked on, while the Bianconeri remain hopeful they can tempt Federico Bernadeschi away from Fiorentina.
