Erstwhile member of the defunct Nigerian hip hop group, Plantashun Boyz, Chibuzor Oji better known by his stage name as Faze, has addressed the song ‘theft’ controversy between former band mates, 2face and Blackface.

It would be recalled that Blackface, had slammed 2face for allegedly stealing his song (Somebody Loves You) and had threatened to sue him.

According to the ‘Erima crooner’, he was out there in the wilderness and 2Baba never called because he wanted him dead so that he (2face) could take his ‘properties.’

“All said and done with! You did not ask that you want to record my song? Since you decided to hide, you know I still will let you know a piece of my mind, Official 2baba and we’ll meet in court about the publishing,” Blackface had earlier threatened.

Responding to the controversy, Faze, said the disagreement between them, notwithstanding, ‘We are a family.

“Very soon everything will be okay. We are all family notwithstanding.

“Every family has issues. We all have differences, even friends have differences.

“Very soon, it is going to be sorted out,” the songster told Channels Television.

The Plantashun Boyz group got split in 2004 and each member of the group had gone on to launch solo careers.
