Nigeria’s men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, defeated Mali 57-55 on Friday, to win bronze in the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo.
The Afrobasket champions, lost to Egypt in the semi-final, as they failed to replicate their continental conquest at the Games.
D’Tigers win the first quarter 22-7, while Mali took the second quarter 10-8. The Malians led the third quarter 22-15 and also took the final quarter 16-12.
In the women’s event, D’Tigress failed to win gold, as Mali beat them 73-57 in the final played at the Makalekale indoor sports hall.
