Algeria vs Nigeria: Rohr’s assistant, Nabil reveals how Eagles will approach game

The Technical Assistant to coach of the Super Eagles Nabil Trabelsi has revealed how the team will handle tonight’s dead rubber World Cup qualifier against Algeria.

Trabelsi said the Super Eagles will approach the game with the mindset of picking up a win.

The Super Eagles booked their place in Russia after beating Zambia in Uyo last month making today’s game insignificant.

But the Tunisian insists the Nigerian team were not taking the game lightly.

Gernot Rohr has made series of changes in the starting line up, but Nabil insist Nigeria still have a lot in terms of quality to give the Algerians a good fight tonight in Constantine.

He told reporters, “Contrary to what some people think, this game is very important for us, even if we have already qualified, we have a status to defend, we are going to tackle this match seriously.

“Our goal is to complete these qualifications with a win and thus preserve our invincibility.

“Algeria will certainly look to pick their first victory for the honor, so I expect a very competitive game on both sides, we know the strengths and weaknesses of the Algerian team.”
