Algeria players have landed in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, ahead of this weekend’s 2018 World Cup qualifying game against Nigeria.
The North Africans arrived with a chartered flight late Thursday evening and were received by top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Algeria’s delegation was led by its association president, Mohamed Raouraoua.
They were booked into the Le Meridian Hotel, where the Super Eagles are also staying and will train tomorrow at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium by.
New coach, Georges Leekens, has touched down with an injury-hit squad for the fixture.
Ryad Boudebouz is ruled out, while Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam remains a huge doubt as he has been battling a groin problem. But he travelled with the team
