Alexis Sanchez is demanding a staggering £400,000 a week if he is to stay at the Emirates next season.
According to Mirror Sport, there is a £275,000-a-week contract on the table for the Chile striker to sign.
The Gunners are reluctant to pay such wages at the moment, especially as they will not play in the Champions League next season.
If eventually they budge, it will automatically make Sanchez the third highest-paid player in the world. Carlos Tevez and Lionel Messi are currently the top two. Here’s the current top 10.
