The alarm has been raised by the Abia State government over the alleged use of men in military uniform for campaign rallies by the satate governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Dr. Alex Otti. This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategies, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere while briefing Journalists in Umuahia. Agbazuere said: “The state government hereby alerts the federal government, INEC and military authorities that one man called Alex Otti is parading men in military uniforms, when as a civilian he has no right to do so under the law.” However, while reacting to the allegation, Media Aide to Dr. Alex Otti, Chris Uka said: “I wonder where the state government got this baseless information from. Their allegations are not true and they are laughable.”
