Aigbogun confident Enyimba will defeat Etoile

Head coach of Enyimba, Paul Aigbogun, has stated that his players are confident ahead of Sunday’s first leg, second round CAF Champions League clash against Etoile du Sahel.

The Nigeria Professional Football League club will take on the Tunisian side at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

“We have known about this game (against Etoile) for a while and we have been preparing for it.

“We will be ready on Sunday,” he told SuperSport.

Aigbogun also spoke about Etoile’s strengths and his plans to neutralise them.

He added: “They have some very good players but that will not be a problem.

“It was easy to get information about Etoile compared to the other sides we met in the previous rounds of the competition.

“We have our game plan and they should be the ones getting worried about us and not the other way round.

“We do not have any injury concerns and none of our players are suspended so we have a complete squad.

“Playing the second leg away from home is also not a problem as we did that in the first round (against Burundian champions Vital ‘O) and still qualified.

“We will try to take advantage by putting them under pressure in the first leg and putting them under pressure at home.”

The second leg will be played on the weekend of April 18-19 at Stade Olympique de Sousse in Sousse.
