Ahmed Musa dedicates first ever AFCON goal to unborn son

Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa, has dedicated his first ever AFCON goal, to his unborn son.

The CSKA Moscow man, scored the fourth goal, as Nigeria defeated Mali 4-1 to qualify for the finals of the tournament in South Africa.

“I dedicate my first ever goal at the Nations Cup to my unborn child. I am expecting him next month,” he said.

“I am happy with the goal and the victory was massive for us. We deserved it.”

Musa, who tied the knots last year in Kano, also reiterated that the Eagles were focused on winning their first ever continental trophy since 1994.

“My target and that of the team has been to win the trophy, now that we are in the final, it is the trophy Nigerians should expect from us. They should continue to pray for us,” he said.

Nigeria will face Burkina Faso in the finals on Sunday.
