Zachary Aiji Audu is a renowned farmer, founder of Huncho Foundation, CEO of Fribands LTD (A media, investment, and real estate company), Owner of Huncho farms. A final year undergraduate student of Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus.

The Benue born started Huncho Foundation in 2016 as a non-governmental organisation with the aim of offering scholarship to underprivileged children, empowering youths and widows by creating employment mainly in agricultural sector.

Huncho’s vision to eradicate poverty to its barest minimum in Nigeria drove him into setting up H-Huncho farms which has employed 16 abled bodied.

His milk of kindness has impacted Nigerian students of Eastern Mediterranean University,Cyprus. Huncho has provided tuition fees, organised conferences to teach students how to invest and use their talents.

Huncho Foundation has not received financial support from society except through words and prayers, we have in our strength strived to achieve everything from investments and farm produce.

Huncho Farms is used to fund the foundation projects and charity works.

At age 25, Huncho has enrolled more than 16 children under 100 percent academic scholarship (primary-secondary), provided financial support for a successful hernia operation, provided relief materials and food items to widows in Dutse Alhaji. Also, visited four orphanage homes in Abuja and provided relief materials to the visually impaired at Jabi school of the Blind.

We hope to occupy other states in the country and expect the Federal government would support H-Huncho Farms in the future so we can build a bigger farm to help Nigeria’s economy.

Our immense contribution of Huncho foundation to the society has earned us awards both home and abroad.

We recently won the Golden heart awards (Ben 200 foundation) ,Humanitarian Achievement/ Youngest philanthropist in Nigeria- Organised by National Humanitarian awards , Award of Excellence for youth empowerment and community development, Foundation of the year- presented by Ambassador of Spain to Nigeria

My advice to Nigerian youths is to invest in Agriculture and focus on actualising dreams with available resources and not be weighed down by economic crisis in the country.

I started Huncho farms with 509 birds which I lost 200 because of lack of experience but I didn’t give up, I decided to start again and now it’s a successful business. I have 3500 birds and my farm is well equipped with cameras, steady light. We recently acquired a feed processing miller to be one of the first farms in Abuja to start producing feeds and sell to other other poultry farmers.

To Nigerians youths agriculture not Politics is the hope for a better future and milestone success.
