The Flying Eagles of Nigeria, have qualified for the final of the African Youth Championship, after a 2-0 win over bitter rivals, Ghana.
Manu Garba’s boys took the lead in the first half, after Obinna Nwobodo scored from a corner-kick. Musa Muhammed then converted a penalty in the second half, to seal the game for the Nigerians.
Nigeria will now face the winner between Mali and hosts Senegal, who will battle it out in the other semi-final, to be played at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar.
All four teams have already qualified to represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in June. .
