African U-23 Championship draw to hold September 14

Draws for the African U-23 Championship, will be conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on September 14 in Dakar.

Eight countries have qualified for the tournament, which will be hosted by Senegal.

There will be two groups and the matches will be played in Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar and Stade Caroline Faye, M’Bour, between November 28 and December 12, 2015.

Nigeria will be present at the competition, after Samson Siasia led the Dream Team VI to a 2-1 aggregate win over Congo-Brazzaville, in the final round of the qualifying series.

Other participants are hosts Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Mali, Zambia and South Africa.

Africa’s three representatives at the 2016 Olympic Games will be picked from the tournament.
