As the Super Eagles failed to pick a ticket for the African Cup of Nations, AFCON, going on in Gabon, the Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, has declared his support for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Pinnick has shown solidarity with Ghana in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations campaign as they look to win a fifth title in Gabon.

Pinnick’s administration has seen the Super Eagles miss two AFCON tournaments.

The Eagles lifted the title in 2013 but missed out of Equatorial Guinea 2015 and Gabon 2017.

Ghana will begin their campaign against Uganda at the Stade de Port-Gentil on Tuesday.

The NFF boss paid a courtesy call to the Black Stars’ camp yesterday ahead of their clash with the Cranes.

The Ghana FA tweeted, “@thenff Prez @PinnickAmaju visits the #BlackStars & @UgandaCranes to offer his support ahead of their start of their #afcon2017 campaign.”
